**Chinese Y-20 transport aircraft makes maiden flight**

The X'ian Aircraft Corporation (XAC) Y-20 strategic transport aircraft made its maiden flight from the Yanliang test airfield near the XAC plant on 26 January.

**First serial Y-20 military transport aircraft was handed over to the PLAAF**

The first serial Y-20 military transport aircraft  (seriall number 11051) developed by Xi’an Aircraft Industrial Corporation was handed over to the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) in a ceremony.
